Rivers- BODROG
NEW! Not the Danube or the Hron but the BODROG!
BODROG- New red CUVÉE 2017
dry
New!
One of our rarity red wines is an interesting combination of Alibernet, Blue Frank and Pinot Noir. The wine comes from the sand dunes of the eastern Slovakian village of Streda nad Bodrogom from the lowest vineyards in Slovakia.
Decant this wine and let it rest in the decanter for 30 minutes. Apart from the unfiltered shade of rubinogranate, it impresses with smoky smoked plums, notes of drienok and cherry compote. The palate is pleasantly full to warm with echoes of slightly lost jam and lively acidity. The aftertaste is pleasantly drieny and acidic, juicy with a woody echo.
WHY BODROG?
#ShowMore#
BODROG is a river that has no source, so It is formed by the confluence of several rivers. Its lowest point is not far from the lowest vineyard in Slovakia behind the village of Streda nad Bodrog, where the grapes for this wine come from.
The Bodrog separates the Tokaj wine-growing region from the East Slovak wine-growing region. Just as the river has no source, so too does the production of red wines have no tradition in Tokaj.
Therefore, to expand and make our portfolio more attractive, we import grapes of blue Frankincense, Alibernet and Pinot Noir (Pinot Noir Pinot Noir) and make red wines from them.
Fantastic news....powerful, elegant with fantastic bottle maturity!
