TOKAJSKÉ SAMORODNÉ SWEET
The name "Samorodné" is of Slavic origin, as the original and genuine from the Tokaj region.
Little known wine, but the most basic for the production of all other Tokaj wines and their specialties.
A lighter shade of amber colour. In the smell it presents attractive compote fruitiness, quince, ripe pears and grapes underlined by a dark spiciness
of noble botrytis. A wine with a savoury and lively texture, flavours of onion and grape compote, a wonderful composition of fine residual sugar and a distinctive
Tokaj acidity. On the aftertaste, citrusy and again very lively.
Its composition is predetermined by history and tradition. It contains all three grape varieties, mostly Furmint then Lime and Muscat Yellow. It is not a cuvée but a blend of grapes.
The more intense botrytis on the grapes contributes to a higher sugar content at harvest, up to 24°NM.
